Big Changes at the North Florida Fairgrounds
If you’ve been by the fairgrounds you may have noticed several changes to the property. One noticeable change is the mural on the Monroe Street side of a building. The mural was done by local artist Kollet Probst and is a tribute to the history of fairs, festivals, and carnivals and to the field of agriculture.
Another change is the landscaping in front of many of the buildings. Gone are the 1970’s era shrubs, replaced by plants and flowers. A number of buildings are currently receiving new roofs. All of these changes are to make the fairgrounds more functional and more attractive. We’re excited about the changes and we think you will like the new look of your North Florida Fair. See you in November!
This year’s Fair dates are November 7-17, 2019
